John Aglialoro joined Verizon in 2016 and leads Verizon’s Payments Strategy, Partnerships and Check Processing Operations for the Consumer & Business segments. His team is responsible for developing the multi-year merchant payments strategy roadmap for Verizon, managing relationships for 50+ payments partners including card association networks, processors and digital partners. In addition to payments strategy, John also manages the national operations for check remittance processing centers for Verizon.
Prior to joining Verizon, John held leadership positions at MasterCard, American Express & GM across market development, strategic partnerships, marketing and finance.

John Bopp is the Director of Billing Operations at Asurion in Nashville, TN. He is responsible for the governance of a high-volume transaction processing environment within a company focused on helping customers enhance their lives through technology. He has managed payments within the functional areas of information technology, operations, and finance during his career in telecommunications and related services.
Payments Partner Manager
Calvin is a part of the Payments Partnerships team at Google. His team is responsible for Google’s global payment processors, tax invoicing partners, and ID&V partners. He has worked extensively on key initiatives to improve authorization rates, lower payment processing fees, and improve chargeback recoveries.
Senior Manager Payments Business Operations
Jennifer Dailey-Helgestad is a Senior Manager in the Payments Business Operations team for Amazon. She oversees the global team responsible for oversight of Payment Partners and the teams that liaisons between the Customer Service organization and Payments. Her teams focus on removing payment friction for customers while continuously improving the operational support for the multitude of Amazon businesses.
Monica Edelen is the Billing Operations Manager at HomeServe USA and has worked in the billing and payments industry for 9 years. Monica continuously drives process improvements to ensure compliance with payment security standards. In a high-volume transaction environment, she has established processes through analyzing key data statistics which resulted in collection rates reaching an all-time high. With her extensive experience in the RFP process, Monica has been able to streamline HomeServe’s payment processing and drive cost savings through collaboration and negotiation between the company and potential vendor.

Karla Hensley has been in the Card Payments industry for 15 years+ serving in various leadership roles with Issuers, Acquirers and large e-commerce merchants. She is currently a Senior Manager leading the Payment and Fraud Operations team for Pinterest. Her focus is on global payment expansion, continuous process improvements that enhance the customer experience and Fraud mitigation.

She has led their Payment Operations team for the last 15 years through impressive global growth. Melissa has worked with numerous processors globally, managed and directed chargeback processes, managed the US Payment Operations and advised more than 20 countries on payment processes and best practices.

Pete is currently a Sr Product Manager at The New York Times and has been working with payments and subscription billing for over 10 years. Pete’s mission is to help subscription companies define and execute payment strategies that include diversifying payment methods, and creating capabilities that optimize approval rates.
Jonathan Lee is on the Payments Operations team at Netflix in Los Gatos, CA. His team works to ensure that subscribers have a seamless experience by maximizing authorization rates and minimizing payments-related churn. Jonathan works closely with strategic market leads, finance, and engineering teams for global initiatives and optimizations.

Jay Matthews has worked in the area of billing and payments for 20+ years. His areas of responsibility include payments and fraud mitigation strategy and billing process management. During his time in the industry, Jay has had the opportunity to view payments from three different functional areas, Finance, Operations, and Marketing, which has given him a unique perspective on strategy development. Jay holds a B.S. in Economics from Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Kevin Salerno has more than 18 years of software development experience and is currently the Billing And Payments Architect at Constant Contact. Over the past 10 years, he has worked as a development lead in designing and implementing enterprise business systems and applications. A key focus of his has been designing and building a billing and payments solution that could scale to support Constant Contact’s evolving product catalog and maturing business models. Kevin plays a vital role in ensuring the payments solution minimizes organizational costs and customer friction while maximizing revenue and customer retention.

Over a 20-year career in operations, technology and shared services at JP Morgan Chase & Co., Steve was a champion of innovation to maximize fraud prevention, dispute recoveries and cost reduction. He led groups for Fraud, Disputes and Collections that covered internal case management system design, large technology deployments, workforce management & capacity planning, self-service including SMS & email outreach, data infrastructure and off-shoring & near-shoring efforts. His experience in assessing and implementing a wide range of loss mitigation, cost efficiencies and process solutions is a key objective for his role in helping Ethoca clients.

John Hierholzer is Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure on the MasterCard North America Market Development team. In this role, he is responsible for defining and driving technology enhancements to improve processing efficiencies. He is also responsible for supporting the rollout of new technologies such as MasterPass, MasterCard Digital Enable Service, Tokenization and BIN expansion in an effort to expand acceptance, cardholder benefits and security of the MasterCard network.
Previously, John was a member of the Global Proxy Office. He also played a key role in MasterCard’s initial public offering and helped facilitate MasterCard’s transition to become a publicly traded company.

J.J. Kieley is the Vice President, Payment Consulting Group, US and LAC. The Payments Consulting Group (PCG) is responsible for providing payment processing technical expertise and consulting to American Express merchants, third party processors and payment service providers.
As a member of the PCG organization, he is responsible for partnering with merchant-facing, product development and technical organizations within American Express to develop and deliver payment-related solutions for the US and Latin America. These solutions are primarily focused on payment security solutions (e.g. EMV and Safekey) and emerging payment solutions (e.g. digital wallet, in-app and tokenization).

Layne LaBadie is Vice President of Business Development and National Account Management for JCB International Credit Card Co., Ltd. She has over 20 years of experience in the payments industry. Her current responsibilities include Relationship Management, Marketing and growing JCB card acceptance for major accounts in Electronic Commerce, Retail, and Travel and Entertainment.

As an international technology industry veteran, Jesus brings over 30 years of experience in commercial, marketing, strategy, operations and technology roles. Prior to Vindicia, Jesus was Head of Marketing for Amdocs in the Caribbean and Latin America region, driving marketing to significantly expand Amdocs’ sales pipeline. Before Amdocs, he was Head of Sales for Utiba (acquired by Amdocs in 2014), focusing on mobile financial services. His experience includes two years as Head of Corporate/B2B and CCO at Cable & Wireless, and 15 years with Motorola. He lives by Vince Lombardi’s motto: “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.” Jesus holds an MBA from Universidad del Zulia (Venezuela), a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta (Venezuela), and Advanced Management certifications from Kellogg Institute of Management and IESE (Universidad de Navarra, Spain).
As General Manager, Andrew Monroe leads all operational and commercials teams for the North America region of Ingenico ePayments, focusing on growing clients’ revenues and providing customers with a seamless payment experience.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in eCommerce and sales, managing teams in Fintech organizations in multiple continents, including North America and Europe. His deep understanding of the payments industry and desire to see others succeed allows him to deliver customized solutions, regardless of the industry or region.

For over four years, Laura has led one of the e-commerce relationship management teams at Vantiv. Prior to Vantiv, she held leadership roles at Nasdaq and WGBH Boston. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in Risk Management, Strategic Client Management, Payments Operations, eCommerce and Recurring payments strategy and has served a wide range of online retail merchants and acquirers, including Victoria’s Secret Catalogue, Nordstrom.com and Litle&Co/Vantiv and Chase Paymentech. In both her current and prior roles, Lisa’s focus has been on building teams, process and procedure to mitigate and fight fraud and driving client satisfaction, representing the voice of the customer as an internal advocate as well as with payment brands and industry organizations.
As VP of Product at Adyen, Puneet is responsible for driving adoption of online payment and platform features across Adyen’s key global merchants. Prior to joining Adyen, Puneet previously led e-commerce product teams at Mercari and Groupon.
